Was called home and found peace on Monday, October 9, 2023, age 73 years. Beloved husband for 50 years to Arlene (nee Eklund). Loving Dad of Jennifer (Steve) Leitner. Proud grandpa of Brandon Leitner. Dear brother of Susan (Donald) Lange and Nancy Plamann. Preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy Plamann. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Michael was a retiree of Met Life, member of the US Army Reserve and a long time member of St. Lucas Ev. Lutheran Church. A thank you to the doctors and staff at St. Luke's South Shore for their dedicated care for Mike.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, October 15, 2023, 2:00-5:00 PM. Visitation also on Monday, October 16, 2023, 1:00-2:00 PM at St. Lucas Ev. Lutheran Church, 2605 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Mike are appreciated to help support the church stained glass window restoration.
