Loving father of Jenny (Marc) Rohde, and Chrissy Michalski (Chris Charney). Grandfather of Ethan, Caleb, Kylie, Cole, Carter. Further survived by Eugenia Michalski and his "adopted mom", Patricia Konter. Visitation at the Funeral Home on TUESDAY, Sept. 15, 2015 from 5-8PM. Funeral Service at 8PM. Interment from the Funeral Home WED at 10AM going to St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mikel was born and grew up in Milwaukee as well as Sheboygan and Plymouth. He returned to Milwaukee and worked for Lieberman Realty, and then for Columbia-St. Mary's and Froedtert Hospitals in medical transcription. Mikel moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 2011. He was semi-retired and work most recently for Hendricks Enterprises as property manager. Mikel had a kind heart, gentle soul, was generous and caring and easily made friends. He was quick to laugh and had a great sense of humor. He loved to putter in the garden, decorate his home, shop rummage sales, visit festivals and entertain friends and family.
