Michael J. Fritsche

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Age 69 years. Loving father of Mandy (Carl) Norman, Melissa (Joshua) Huth, Monica (John) Borchardt and Kristin (Jim) Krause. Cherished grandpa of Marcus Norman and Mason Fritsche; Camiren Huth and Kellen Huth; Morgan Borchardt, Preston Borchardt and Olivia Borchardt; Sophia Krause and Palmer Krause. Dear brother of Charleen (Brian) Reilly, Patty Birenbaum, LuAnn Harden, William (Michelle) Brown, Ronald (Cynthia) Fritsche, Janet (Allan) Bell and Karen Boudry. Lifelong best friend of Jeff (Janet) Premetz. Michael is preceded in death by his parents John Fritsche and Lois Brown and his beloved dogs Rocky and Daisey Duke. He is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Mike was born in Wisconsin Rapids, raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Pulaski High School in 1972. He was a retiree of General Mills after many years of service. Throughout his life Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, ice fishing, cooking, driving his MG, and the occasional Old Style. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching Brewers, Packers, Badgers sports, and when he could watching his grandchildren play sports. He will be remembered for his light hearted and playful nature. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed reminiscing about old times, family members and talking about fishing.

Mike did not want a funeral so his daughters will be hosting a Celebration of Life in June near what would have been his 70th Birthday.
