Michael M. Barber, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2024.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Lu Ann. Cherished dad of Matthew, Larisa (formerly known as Emily) (Justin) and Jacquelyn (Kate). Brother of Loretta and William (Mary). Brother-in-law of Gary (Carol) and Randy. Favorite hooman of Rosie. Further survived by many friends and family.

Mike is preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica; his sister, Sandra; his parents, Marvin (Mary Jo) and Leatrice; and his parents-in-law, Donald and LaVerne.

Mike was a very kind, Christian man. You would often find him doing things for others. He was the ORIGINAL foodie. He used his love and talent for cooking to bring many people together. Mike was the Controller for Maynard Steel Casting Company. He was able to live his dream by operating his own food truck, The Rolling Cones. He was involved in many community endeavors including, but not limited to: St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church, Tricklebee Cafe, Friends of Pulaski Park, and the former Unity Soup Kitchen.

Mike and his wife enjoyed traveling extensively in the U.S. and internationally. He was a good man with a great sense of humor. His example helped bring out the best in everyone. He will be greatly missed by many.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church in Cudahy, WI. Mike would appreciate it if you stopped by Tricklebee Cafe in Milwaukee to enjoy a vegan meal.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3515 E Van Norman Ave, Cudahy, WI. Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM.
