"Robin"

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughter Christy on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Age 97 years. Meredith is preceded in death by her daughters Beth Patterson, Audrey Yoeckel and her son Richard Weber. She is survived by her daughter Christy Weber. Dear grandma of Niki Gaetano; Jennifer Turner and the late Temajin Yoeckel and daughter Terah; Angela Weber, Matthew Weber, Chelsy Morisato and Luke Weber. Cherished sister of Elaine Culver. Adored aunt of Lori Weber, Lisa Weber, Susie Weber, Kathie Kiska and Karen Porteous. Meredith is also preceded in death by 7 brothers and 1 sister. She is also survived by great'granchildren, other family members and friends.

Meredith was born and raised in Wausau. In her teenage years she moved to Milwaukee with her mother and siblings. She began her working career as a bookkeeper for Robin's Carpet Service. She went on to become the manager of a Gift Shop in Brookfield. After moving to Texas Meredith became an Accounts Payable Specialist for the Haliburton Corp. She later retired in 1995 after working for 3 years for the IRS as a Taxpayer Advocate.

Throughout her life Meredith enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, she authored the book "Bridey O'Riley & the Finn Foya" and was an award-winning author of several short stories. She was a very creative person and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved her family and will be remembered for her loving and caring nature. Robin enjoyed the fun and interesting times she had each week with the good friends she made at the Greendale Senior Social Club. Many thanks to all the staff at VITAS Hospice for their loving care of Robin in her final days.
