Lindseth, Melanie J. (nee Stein) of Oak Creek, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 14, 2021, age 62 years. Melanie was born to Art Stein and Eileen "Irish O'Leary" Stein in Milwaukee, WI. Melanie is survived by her loving husband of 22 years Jay Lindseth. Proud mother of Andrea (Vince) Furby, Natalie Stein, and Brooke Lindseth. She was the most amazing grandmother to Jayden and Nora. Beloved youngest sister to seven brothers and sisters, and lovingly nicknamed "Baba" by Stephanie Sue Stein, John (the late Nancy) Stein, Gretchen (Bob) Levezow, Christine Siekierski, the late James (Mary) Stein, Heidi Bourne, and Lorelei Stein (David Weber). Very fond daughter-in-law to Joyce (the late Larry) Lindseth and sister-in-law to Bruce Lindseth (Laurie Gabrielson) Scott Lindseth (Toni Cavanaugh). Loving and devoted owner to dog, Chloe. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Melanie graduated from Bay View High School in 1977 and attended UW-Milwaukee. She was a devoted employee of the Wisconsin Compensation Rating Bureau where she worked for many years. She was also a proud and active member in the community, volunteering for the City of Oak Creek as well as assisting the Oak Creek High School Band. Melanie most loved spending time with her family and enjoying music concerts. She will forever be celebrated and remembered as the most generous, fun-loving, smart, encouraging, and passionate person, mother, sister, and friend each of us could have asked for. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, November 19, 2021, 10:00AM-12 Noon. Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
