Bauman, Melanie Michele, born December 18, 1978, in Woodruff, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2024, at the age of 45. Melanie was from Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Melanie attended the Lac du Flambeau Grade School and the Lakeland Union High School as well as the Casimir Pulaski High School in Milwaukee. Mel graduated in 1997 from Pulaski.

Mel attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering as well as the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and held various jobs in the hospitality and service industry around the Milwaukee area. Melanie was most often the highlight of the party with her spunky personality and could light up the room with her broad smile. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time "up North" where she lived a good part of her childhood. She loved her friends and family, and loved her children deeply. She was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan and enjoyed watching the games with friends and family.

Melanie is survived by her daughters Ava and Mya, son Ray IV; Father Bruce (Tiffany) Bauman; partner Paul Dejewski; Grandmother Beverly Bauman; sisters Lindy Bauman, Alyse Bauman, Jenna Bauman, Maegan Bauman, Katlynn Bauman; brothers Bruce Bauman Jr., Alden Bauman and Hunter Bauman. Mel is further survived by her special niece Brielle and other beloved nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles, as well as many close cousins and dear friends.

Melanie was preceded in death by her mother, Michele "City" LaBelle; Grandmother Flora LaBelle; Grandfathers Donovan LaBelle and Alden Bauman; Aunts Dana LaBelle and Brenda Saglin and Uncles Doug LaBelle and Marc LaBelle.

Visitation Monday, March 4, 2024 from 3PM to 6PM at the Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow, at 6PM.
