Melvin "Mel" R. Wirth

Sunday, January 28, 2024, age 86 years. Beloved husband for 50 years to the late Judith Ann Wirth (nee Grosshuesch). Loving father of Donald J Wirth (deceased), daughter Debbie Lee (Mark) Florek; Grandfather of Amanda Lauren Florek (Peter J. Gratz) and Daniel (Jennifer) Resterhouse. Mel is also survived by other family and friends.

To those of you who knew Mel, you will remember him as having an open heart, embracing

anyone who came across his path. His love of family, friends and his never ending willingness to help someone were his greatest attributes. Mel's memory will continue to live on within every person who came to know him.

A special thank you to everyone for the love and support given to our family. You are loved and we are blessed to have you in our lives.

Memorial Visitation on Saturday, February 17, 2024, 10:00 AM-11:30 AM at the Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home-Bay View Chapel, 3275 S. Howell Ave. Memorial Service and military honors at 11:30 AM. Private inurnment Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Please no flowers or memorials.
