(nee Massard) Born to eternal life on Saturday, March 10, 2012, age 84 years. Beloved wife for 60 years of Tommy. Loving mom of Michael (Patricia Nelson), Patricia (Kim) Armstrong, Mark (Nancy Gall), Christopher, Robert (Kristin) and Barbara Van Alstine. Dearest grandmother of Timothy, Kathryn, Matthew and Nicholas. Dear sister of Mary Rushak. Preceded in death by her sisters, Evangeline Skic and Marcella Sharkey and her brother, Lloyd Massard. Also survived by other family and friends. Mavis was a very active volunteer including, 8 years of teaching CCD, 14 years as a Girl Scout troop leader and for 20 years distributed communion at St. Luke's Medical Center.
