"Matt"

On Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 54, Matt went home to the Lord and is now safely in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Loving son of Elizabeth and the late Thomas Okray. Dear brother of James Okray and Katie (Jacob) Scepanski. Adored uncle of Zachary (Kelly) Okray and Paige Okray; Danielle and Brandon Scepanski. Dear great-uncle of Cohen Okray. Matt is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Matthew was born and raised in Milwaukee. He attended St. Sebastian grade school and was a 1989 graduate of Pius XI High School. After graduating Matt worked for several years as a press operator at many area companies including Quad Graphics, Arandell Corporation, and HM Graphics Inc. He later went on to bartend for several local bars in West Allis.

Throughout his life Matt enjoyed music, both by listening and jamming on his electric guitar, with his friends. Some of his favorite bands were Metallica, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osburne, The Scorpions, ACDC, Quiet Riot, and Guns N' Roses. He was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan and wore a Brewers hat 364 days a year.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his thoughtfulness, being a people person, his generosity, and loyalty to his family and friends. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Those who loved him would do anything to have him back. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, warmth, and cherished memories.

Memorial visitation at the Funeral Home Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 11 AM - 1 PM. Celebration of Life Service at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Matthew's name may be made to the American Heart Association.
