Mathias G. Kraker, age 90, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024.

Mathias is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Katherine and his devoted children Gina(Robert) Banach and Mathew(Margaret) Kraker. Beloved "Opa" to Angela(Patrick) Kaiser, Bryana(Josh) Martinson, Lauren and Joey Kraker and great-grandchildren Leah and Mason Kaiser. As an only child, he enjoyed a large extended family survived by his in-laws Rosemarie(Fred) Bartkowski, Ginny(Richard) Randa, many nieces and nephews and known as everyone's favorite Uncle Matt. He was also blessed with many friendships over the years.

Mathias graduated from Don Bosco High School and served in the Army Reserves. He retired from General Electric after thirty-five years and was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed many cruises and taking trips to Las Vegas and Lake Havasu. In his free time, he loved to golf, read and watch Turner Classic movies.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Heart Association in Mathias' name would be greatly appreciated.

Memorial Visitation Friday, December 13, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1720 E. Norwich St, Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Inurnment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
