Maryrose Kathleen Marki

Found Peace on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Age 76 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Dale Marki. Loving mother of Jerri Brown, Mark Brown and Michael Brown. Dear sister of Richard (Christine) Garstecki, Daniel Gartecki and the late Thomas (the late Marge) Garstecki. Maryrose is also preceded in death by her parents Casimir and Eleanore Garstecki and is further survived by other family members and friends.

Maryrose was born and raised on the Northside of Milwaukee and was a graduate of Riverside High School. She took immense pride in raising her children. Throughout her working career Maryrose was a waitress at George Webbs and then spent many years working as a baker in several Milwaukee area grocery stores until her retirement from Pick-n-Save.

Later in life she enjoyed a variety of cooking shows and police action dramas on TV. She was especially an avid fan of Kenny G. Maryrose will best remembered for her love for her family and a witty sense of humor.

Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 5-7 PM. Memorial Service at 7 PM.
