Mary Louise Rondinelli
of Greenfield, WI passed away peacefully on October 4, 2021. Mary was born on December 12, 1930 to Aloysius and Gertrude Rivers. Growing up she attended St. Catherine's High School in Racine. After high school she met the love of her life Frank through mutual friends and the rest was history. They were married on May 26, 1951. Mary and Frank went on to have four boys, Dave, John, Mark, & Mike. Mary was an amazing homemaker and was well known for her fantastic Italian cooking. Frank and Mary loved entertaining family and friends and they were well known for having the best Christmas Eve gathering. When her boys were older Mary took on a part time job at Stein Garden & Gifts and spent 12 years there. Mary was also active at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Milwaukee, attending mass every Sunday and serving on various church committees and groups. Although she could not attend the last few years Mary remained a parish member and supported the church monthly until her passing. Mary lived her life for her family, and they were her greatest joy. She was the most selfless, caring, and generous soul to all who encountered her.
Mary is survived by her sons John, Dave (Bernie), Mike (June). Her grandchildren, Angela, Michelle (Pete), Jessica (Christopher), Dana, & Tony. Her great grand-daughter Ruby. Her sister Pat, her sister-in-law Eva, and countless nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Frank, her son Mark, her parents Aloysius and Gertrude, her brother Bob, her sister-in-law Florence, her brother-in-law Sam, and her brother-in-law Frank.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the care Mary received in her last months of life to Bella Vista Assisted Living in Oshkosh, WI, Eden Meadows of Oshkosh, Compasses Hospice, Ascension Mercy Hospital, and all her caregivers. We are eternally grateful for the care and compassion you showed Mary during her brief time with you.
Visitation for Mary will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 9:30-11am at St Charles Borromeo Parish, 3100 W. Parnell Ave. St, Milwaukee, WI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Mary will be buried after the service at Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine, WI next to Frank and her son Mark.
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
