Obituary

Our beloved mother, Mary L. Mliner (nee Stahl), passed away on May 13, 2025 at age 96. She was born October 26, 1928 in Sheboygan, WI where she grew up and met Gil, her devoted husband of 70 years. Gil passed away in 2020 at age 92. They lived in Oak Creek for many years enjoying a life filled with friends, adventures, volunteering and most of all making cherished memories with family. She famously enjoyed warm sunny days, being among nature and sharing good food. Mary was forever positive, joyful and immensely grateful for the love around her.

Mary is survived by her loving sisters Margaret (Frank) Kiefer and JoAnn (Bill) Duessing; Children: Kathy (Gaylord) Hahn, Dave (Robby) Mliner, Maribeth Mliner, Peg (Jeff) Thompson and Ann (Pete) Thompson; Grandchildren: Carrie, Chris, Chelley, Julie, Michael, James, Chad, Cassy, Jon, Lindsey, Hillary, Owen, Nate, Hanna, Jake and Kelsey; Great grandchildren: Ella, Joanna, Kenneth, Evelyn, Grace, Junior, Charlotte, Eddie, Jane, Abby, Ben, Jack, Will, Reese, Elle, Camden, Charlie, Wynnie, Sawyer, Ryan, Jordan and Emma.

A celebration of her life will be Friday, May 23, 2025 at St. Charles Borromeo, 3100 W. Parnell Ave., Milwaukee, WI with Visitation at 10:00 am and Mass at 11:00 am. A private entombment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery will follow.

Her family is sincerely grateful to the staff at Grand Castle Senior Living and Hospice for their generous care and compassion.
