(nee Spangenberg) Went to join her beloved husband, Henry "Hank" and grandson, Brian on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, age 92 years. Loving mother of Henry Alan (Louise), Nancy (Arthur) Mitchel, Mary Jane and Joseph (Pamela). Dearest grandmother of Joseph (Jill), Amy (Victor), Kathryn (Chad), Matthew (Amanda), Nicholas, Heather (Levi), Shannon (Matthew), Abigail and Margaret. Dear sister of Dale (Joan), Jack (Bernice), Rebecca (Bryan) Kanner, the late Emma Jean (Jack) Sweet, the late Ethel Arlene (Clarence) Derrick and the late H. William (Eileen). Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Mary was a proud veteran of the United States Coast GuardSPAR serving during World War II and was a member of the Bell Telephone Post No. 427, American Legion. In May of 2010 Mary traveled to Washington D.C. on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. She was a volunteer with the Wilson Park Senior Center, an avid gardener, enjoyed playing golf and most of all treasured spending time with her family.
