(nee Ouradnik/Krebs) Passed away on Monday, December 02, 2013. Age 78 years. Loving wife of Bob Koebert. Cherished mother of Melissa (Steve) Steidl, Linda (Mike Vickery) Koebert, Dr. Robb (Dona Hutson) Koebert, and Cyndi Koebert. Mother-in-law of Sharon Nieman-Koebert. Beloved grandmother of Olivia Steidl, Kate (Kyle Shelton) Vickery, Chris Vickery, Taylor and Marin Koebert, Sara Hutson, and Joey Librizzo. Sister of Judy (Mike) Vogl, Kathe (Bob) Filter, Chuck Ouradnik. Mary Kay is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. She was especially close to Georgene and Jim Dieball and others from the Nordic Ski Club, and her Crivitz neighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents Kathryn (nee Mathews) and Charles Ouradnik. Mary Kay was a 1957 graduate of Mount Mary College and worked her entire career as an occupational therapist at the Veteran's Hospital. She had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying paddling, hiking, skiing, and biking. The Koebert's cozy cottage in the wilds of Marinette County was her treasured retreat where she lovingly prepared meals for guests who came to share the serenity or sing around the campfire. Many were nourished by her generous care. A heartfelt thank you to those who helped Mary Kay during the last months of her life, and to the VNA & Zilber Family Hospice. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring, her favorite time of the year. Mary Kay was a long time volunteer at the Wehr Nature Center in Whitnall Park. If desired, memorials in her name to the Friends of Wehr Nature Center are appreciated. Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Homes Bay View Chapel 414-483-2322
