Obituary

Mary Jo Gin "JoJo" "Pud" "MJ" "Nana" Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Age 68 years. Beloved wife for 45 years of Frank. Loving mom of Gina Gin (Kevin Seekford), Jennifer Gin (Keith Stephens) and Jessica Gin (Shawn Welch). Cherished Nana of Kennedy; Emilia and Liam; Gia; Dear sister of the late Jack (Mary) Kennedy, the late Rich (Maggie) Kennedy, Linda (Dan) Woda, Mike (Cheryl) Kennedy, Lana (Kevin) Sorgi and Kris (Bob) Thorpe. Adored sister-in-law of Pat (Curt) Schultz. Preceded in death by her parents John and Theresa Kennedy. Mary Jo is further and lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Nana grew up in Janesville Wisconsin. She met her soulmate Frank early at the age of 18. They were married 45 beautiful years and raised 3 beautiful daughters. Her biggest joy were her 4 grandchildren who were her world. Nana had a deep love for her family and friends, always had an open house and would welcome and entertain anyone who wanted to stop in for a game of cards or meal. She always had a positive attitude and put others first. Mary would always asked how you were doing even when she was going through her own difficult times. She got to see the world with the ones she loved most and got to experience times they will never forget. Some of her most memorable trips were going to Vegas annually with her card playing friends, traveling to Naples, Fl to visit her brother and sister in law, Ireland with family and friends, camping trips with the Mikelonis' and Massa's while raising their children, and her most cherished trips were going to China for Frank's retirement followed by a trip to Italy with her whole family for her retirement. Mary was an avid sports fan which she inherited from her mother. She loved her Packers and Brewers and win or lose she always had a complimentary word for her teams. Because of her positive spirit and joy for life Nana would want us all to remember the good times spent with her, live each day to the fullest, remember what's truly important and tell the ones closest to you that you love them.
