Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Age 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Kurt Dretzka. Loving mom of K David (Kim) Dretzka, Jane (Michael) Cason, Steve (Laurelle) Dretzka, Terry (Robert) Cornuke, Ann (Ron) Nielsen and Gregory (Sofia) Dretzka. Adored grandma of Matthew (Hope) Dretzka and Dana Dretzka (Matt Blower); Aaron (Effy Fang) Brown, Abby Rose Brown and Michelle Perszyk (Todd Yauck); Anthony (Pablo Juarez) Dretzka and Nathan (Meghan) Dretzka; Shannon (Trevor) Miller and Connor Cornuke; Fable Nielsen; Alex LaBoy, Dillon Dretzka, Derrick Dretzka and Ashley Dretzka. Dear great-grandma of Reagan, Natalie, George, Jason, Matthew and Bayleigh. Cherished sister-in-law of Ann Dretzka and Mary Alice Tamsen. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Florence Donahue as well as her brothers Joseph and John. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, September 6, 2024 from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Funeral Service at 1:30 PM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.

Mary was born and raised in Watertown, Wisconsin. After high school she met her future husband Kurt in Milwaukee. After marriage they lived in Cudahy where they raised their family. In 1971 they moved to Oak Creek. During those years Mary and Kurt grew their furniture business. Mary took great pride in being an excellent business partner and homemaker. Throughout her life Mary enjoyed traveling, entertaining and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of Legacy Hospice and Franciscan Villa.
