Obituary

Czarnezki, Mary A. "Arlene"

(Ackerman) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the age of 88. Arlene was born to Mary and Leroy Ackerman. She was the loving wife for 63 years to John. Funloving mom of Peter (June), John, Jane (Jim), and Paul (Kim). Cherished grandma of Mark (Kate), Spencer, Ella, Sam, and Max. Dear sister of Bob (Marlene), Carol (Tom), Paul and Sue (Kevin). Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy Wesle. Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Arlene was a proud fan and tennis champion. She also loved singing and creating goofy new lyrics to old songs, enjoyed lifetime friendships with grade and highschool friends, volunteering at Villa Terrace, collected teapots, and always welcomed guests and family into her home. To know Arlene was to know that she loved her old-fashioneds and highballs - "make it worth my while."
