Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Beaudoin (aka "Mumu") made her entrance into the world on March 22,1958 as her mom's (Berenice Beaudoin) very special birthday gift, and she left it on her own terms on January 29, 2022, to join her cherished mom, her dad (Daniel R. "Big Daddy" Beaudoin), and her beloved younger brother, Jimmy "Fella Boy" Beaudoin. Family and dear friends were the center of Mary's world, and her generosity knew no bounds! Whether hosting pumpkin carving parties or the annual Christmas party for many years, "adopting" her best friend's daughter after her death, being a second mother to Danny and Catalina, throwing BBQ's, having her nieces and nephews over for sleepovers (always ending by noon on Sundays!), filling the room or phone with her distinctive peals of laughter, eating pork chops at the "Greek", taking trips to the American Girl Doll Store, delighting in surprise, mystery "fairy godmother" gifts, taking road trips or traveling to Cancún, Jamaica, Costa Rica, England, Scotland, Spain, Florida,Texas or Door County, facilitating college parties, chasing after her dog, Missy, saying goodnight to "Missah Moon" in honor of Jimmy, being a port in the storm for family whenever needed, taking over the dance floor with her infamous "down and back", or retiring early to go to Florida to allow her father to live with dignity in his own home, Mary was a beacon of love and loyalty for family and friends, and always went above and beyond for all. And, Mary's attitude and loyalty permeated into her work life, too. From a very young age, Mary possessed an incredible work ethic. Beginning her career as a first grade teacher, with her superior organizational and people skills, frankness and loyalty, Mary soon joined her dad and brothers at Roddie E. Beaudoin & Son Co. for many years. She then became a member of the Genesse Agregate family, where working for the company and its success was one of her greatest passions and joys until her retirement. It is obvious that Mary truly took to heart William Faulkner's ideas regarding "universal truths of the heart" and always strived to incorporate "love, compassion, honor, and courage" into her own personal creed of life experiences. Family and friends all miss her terribly!! But, she will ALWAYS live on in the hearts of her loving siblings: Kathleen Solórzano, Roddie (Meg) Beaudoin, Daniel "Loader" Beaudoin, and sister-in-law Kim Beaudoin (wife of Jim Beaudoin, RIP), in addition to in the hearts of her adoring nieces & nephews: Daniel Gonzalo (Mary) Solórzano, Catalina Solórzano, Michael Gerard (Casey) Beaudoin, Joey (Catherine) Beaudoin, Connor (Sydney) Beaudoin, Mira Beaudoin, Danny Dennis Jr. (Catherine) Beaudoin, Brett (Lily) Beaudoin and Olivia Beaudoin, and her great-nieces and nephews: AJ, Avion Diego, Anaya & Amari Williams, Bryan and Brock Beaudoin, Harrison and Max Beaudoin, and Kenley Beaudoin. Mary's private graveside service will take place on July 22nd followed by a Celebration of Life for her and her father, Daniel R. Beaudoin, on July 23rd. Further information will be forthcoming. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Mary's name to Blue Lotus Farm & Retreat Center, please. https://www.bluelotusfarm.org.
