Mary Ann Burkhardt (nee Czerniejewski) Born to Eternal Life on Friday, Janurary 13, 2023. Beloved wife of Richard Burkhardt for 66 years. Loving mother of Laurie (David) Straehler and Susan (Paul) Maurer. Cherished grandmother of Lauren (Dustin) LeClaire, Adam, Jeremy and Luke Maurer. Great Grandmother of Landon LeClaire. Sister of Donald Czerniejewski and Caroline (James) Borkenhagen. Further survived by nieces, nephew, family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Joseph Czerniejewski and Irene Pelto and her brothers Joseph, Anthony and Thomas Czerniejewski.

Mary Ann was a former member of the South Milwaukee Women's Club, St. Sylvester Choir and a member of Divine Mercy Christian Women.

Visitation at DIVINE MERCY PARISH, 800 Marquette Ave. South Milwaukee on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery 3564 S. 13th St. Milwaukee WI. For those going directly to the cemetery, please meet inside the 6th street entrance of St. Adalbert Cemetery.
