Martin A. Jocz went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2012. He was born in Milwaukee on February 10, 1926 to the late Martin J. Jocz and the late Salomea "Sally" Kozlowski. He is survived by his loving children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; Son, Marty Jocz (Janice), their children, Melanie Jocz and Nichole (Gerald) Mason; his daughter, Victoria Wilke (Robert), their children, Jason (Beth) Wilke, Kim (Tim) Walker, and Megan Wilke; and son Thomas Jocz (Cindy), their children, Cassie and Nate. Also survived by great-grandchildren Lauren Wilke and Carter Boldezar and former spouse, Patricia, as well as many relatives and friends.
Marty was a member of the Air Force. After leaving the Air Force with an Honorable Discharge, He worked for the Square D Company until his retirement in 1985. He was known not only by family but also friends, as Mr. fix it! He liked having lunch or breakfast with his group of lifelong friends, A.K.A. "The R.O.M.E.O. Group". He and his friends went back to grade and high school. He cherished getting together with them. Over the years he loved to play poker, sheepshead or whatever came up with family and friends. He had a lifetime subscription to National Geographic Magazine and read it from cover to cover. He enjoyed watching the Packer games and other sporting events. Above all, he loved being with his family and friends.
A celebration of Martin's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, 3:00-5:00 PM. Prayer Service at 5:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers, please make your remembrances to the charity of your choice and remember him in your thoughts and prayers as a wonderful, loving, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
