Martin Patrick Burke Jr. entered into Eternal Life on July 11, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on August 7, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marty lived a life full of joy, adventure, and love, surrounded by family and friends.

Marty will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 44 years, Lori A. Burke (née Woltz), and his cherished children: Michael A. (Mickey) Burke Sr., Kelly A. Biondich, and Mark P. (Debbie) Burke. He was a proud grandfather to Chad, Ashley, Michael Jr., Nathaniel, Natasha, and Jeffrey, and he delighted in the joy of being a great-grandfather. He is also survived by his sister, Diane Nuesslein (husband Andrew, deceased), brother-in-law Brian Woltz, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives who will hold him close in their hearts. Martin is predeceased by his brother, Richard (Rita) Burke; sister Carol (Dominic) Alioto; father and mother-in-law, Robert and MaryAnn Woltz; and parents Martin Sr. and Myrtle (nee Baarsen) Burke.

Marty spent his career in the leather industry, culminating in a distinguished role as a Sales/Export Manager for Clariant Corporation's Leather Division, where he traveled the globe, forging connections in destinations such as Asia, Europe, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Turkey. A lover of the outdoors, he cherished time spent deer hunting and fishing with his boys, and his love for his manicured yard and hostas became a signature part of his life.

His family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate team at St. Croix Hospice, especially Alexis, Liz, Rose, Hannah, and the other aides for their exceptional care during his final days.

To honor Martin's wishes, there will be no formal memorial service. Instead, a private inurnment will take place at Arlington Park Cemetery in Greenfield, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to celebrate Marty's life by spending time outdoors, enjoying the beauty of nature, and making cherished memories with loved ones-just as he would have wanted.
