Mark Louis Smith, "Smitty", passed away on Friday, September 11th, 2020. He is survived by his father, Russ; siblings, Paul (Kerri) and Becky (Dennis); daughters, Kelly, Deidra, and Amanda; son, Jeff; grandchildren, Aiden and Benson; and other family and many lifelong friends, including the Schultz, Ode, and Bondowski families. Mark grew up on the south side of Milwaukee, and though he had various endeavors elsewhere, his hometown friends were really what made Milwaukee home. Since childhood, he spent his free time restoring cars or motorcycles, fishing, or helping a friend with the odd project. He is remembered for his extensive knowledge of engines (he could take apart and rebuild a lawn mower by age 8), his fondness of Westerns and Star Trek, his love of Door County, and his notorious stubborn streak. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th, 2020 from 10am to 12pm at the funeral home. A memorial service will be at 12pm noon.
