Mark John Scepanski
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband for 50 years of Joanne (nee Wittliff) Loving father of Angela Trzcinski and Jacob (Katie) Scepanski. Cherished grandpa of Alan Trzcinski, Alex Trzcinski and Andrew Trzcinski; Danielle Scepanski and Brandon Scepanski. Dear brother of Michael Scepanski. Mark is preceded in death by his faithful four-legged companion Jack. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, a sister, other relatives and numerous friends.
Mark was born and raised on the southside of Milwaukee and was a 1973 graduate of Bay View High School. After graduation Mark enlisted in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He began his working career at Allis-Chalmers. In 2003 Mark began his career in health care and found his passion working as a phlebotomist until his retirement in 2018. Throughout his life Mark enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved being outdoors especially on the water. He was the best boat driver! He was also an avid fisherman there he spent countless hours with his son and favorite fishing partner Jacob and his grandsons Alan and Brandon. In December of 2020 Mark and Joanne moved to Crivitz to live their retirement dreams. In March of 2023 Mark joined the Twin Bridge Rescue Squad and continued his lifelong career of serving others.
Mark's infectious laughter, compassionate nature, and unwavering dedication to others will forever be cherished and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. May his legacy serve as a testament to the impact one individual can make in the lives of those around them. He will be forever missed.
Memorial visitation Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 2-4 PM at The Town of Stephenson Town Hall W11280 County Road X, Crivitz WI. Memorial Service at 4 PM with Military Honors to follow.
Mark's family would like to thank the Twin Bridge Rescue Squad and the staff of Aurora Zilber Family Hospice for all of their tender care, compassion and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mark's name may be made to PANCAN - Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
