Obituary

Born To Eternal Life on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the age of 90. Loving sister of Grace (the late Jack) Stetter. Beloved aunt of Gary (Barb) Wojtkowski, Sue (Mark) Lyday, Joyce (Mike) Gill, Mary (Chip) Larson, John and Dave Wojtkowski and John Stetter. Preceded in death by her parents; Stanley and Sophie Wojtkowski, her siblings; Martha (Carl) Halbych, Stanley "Stish" (Berniece), Leonard and Dorothy Wojtkowski, and her nephew Robert Wojtkowski. Further survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marion was independent, self-reliant, detailed and fun-loving, with a good sense of humor and healthy dose of sarcasm. She completed her formal education with a high school diploma and went on to a career in public relations.

Marion was a retiree of Rockwell Automation, formerly Allen-Bradley after many years of service. She was the Editor of the monthly employee magazine initially called "Gossip" and was responsible for the writing and photography. Marion was an avid traveler in her earlier years, exploring the globe. Her collection of artifacts is a testament to her appreciation of other cultures.

Marion's other interests included music, art, photography, attending concerts and plays and she was an avid reader. Family and friends were a priority for Marion. She was generous with her time and love of others. Marion took on a caregiving role for a number of family members and friends who benefited from her care and support.

Marion loved nature and enjoyed watching birds and squirrels through the windows of her condo, her apartment at Harwood Place and finally at her assisted living unit at St. Camillus. She particularly enjoyed the acrobatic squirrel hanging on the bird feeder.
