"Myron"

Went to join his beloved wife, Bernice C. Stachowiak "Bernie" and son, David

Stachowiak on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 age 91 years. Loving dad of Paul (Shirley)

Stachowiak, Sara (Rick) Haertl, Carol (Robert) Pruitt and Diane (Gary) Bruski. Also

survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Myron was a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a lifetime

member of FDR Post #444 American Legion, a member of the Sons of the American

Legion where he held many positions including Commander and a member of the

Veterans of Foreign War. He worked as a Construction Project Manager / Inspector for

the Milwaukee County Department of Public Works, he was extremely proud of his

position and the work he did there. Myron was a very faithful man, he was a member of

St. Vincent De Paul Church for many years and was a member of their Holy Name

Society. He was a charter member of WAMM (Walk A Mile or More) at the VA. He was

always volunteering his time to the Boy Scouts, 25 years wrapped presents at the

Auxiliary Christmas Shop, and helping his wife behind the scenes with her volunteer

activities.

Visitation at the Funeral Home Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 3-6 PM. Prayer Vigil at 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 10 AM at St. Vincent De Paul, 2114 W. Mitchell St. Milwaukee.
