Marilyn Mae Porst

(nee Zettelmeier) Born to eternal life on Monday, May 11, 2026 at age 91. Beloved wife of 72 years to Ronald Porst. Loving mother of James (Cyndi) Porst and Steve (Julie) Porst. Dearest grandma of Justin (Leslie), Jacob, Janelle (Mark), and Steven (Chelsea). Beloved "GG" of Ethan, Olivia, Jackson, and Finley. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by all of her siblings.

Marilyn was born and grew up in Bancroft, Wisconsin, a small country town, where she met her husband Ronald, in which coincidentally, they were born the same day and year. After high school, they married and raised a family in Cudahy, Wisconsin. While raising their children, Marilyn worked part time at Herbert's Fashions and later became a manager for JC Penney.

Marilyn loved to garden, bowl, bake, and most of all, she loved her family. She followed her faith very closely as a member of Lutheran Chapel of the Cross.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 PM. Entombment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
