Marie S. Schubert (nee Scherzer) of Waukesha went home to the Lord at Age 97 at The Virginia Health and Rehab Center on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Marie is the beloved mother of Barbara (Edward) Mindock, Sheboygan, WI and Ellen (Wilmer) Wellstein, Waukesha. Beloved grandmother of Mark (Karie) Mindock, Kaukauna, WI, Alan (Kristen) Mindock, North Hills, CA, David Mindock, Sheboygan, WI, Alane (Rev. Mark) Kaesmeyer, Lake Geneva, WI, Linda (David) Baumann, Theresa, WI and Karen (Tim) Dallmann, Minnetonka, MN. Further survived by great-grandchildren Maralee, Emmalee and Jacob Mindock, Kaukauna, WI, Alexander and Austin Mindock, North Hills, CA, Ethan and Kalyn Mindock, Sheboygan, WI, Jared, Clara, Aubrey Kaesmeyer, Lake Geneva, WI and Benjamin Baumann, Theresa, WI. Marie is also survived by one sister-in-law, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1990; her brothers George, Charles, John; her sisters Eva, Rose, Emma, Margaret; their spouses, nieces and nephews. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery in Slinger, WI Marie was a member of Ladies Aid at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved to sew and traveled through the United States and Canada. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff, aids and entire staff at The Virginia Health and Rehab Center in Waukesha for their care of Marie. A special heart felt thank you to Dr. Martin Kern for his very special care of Marie. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the church.
