Robinette, Marie L. Went home to the Lord Monday, January 26th, 2016 at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Don. Loving mother of Don (Diane) Robinette, David ( Shirley ) Robinette, Sue ( Jim ) Koch, Mary ( Bob ) Binter, Tom ( Mary ) Robinette and Jim ( the late Tracey ) Robinette. Proud Grandmother of Kristi (Dan), Jason, Tara, Rachel (Anthony), Aaron, Chad, Lyndsie (Elliot), Amanda (Collin), Ashley (Jade), Christopher, Sarah, Brooke and Kyle. Further survived by 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Marie was born in Nordfjord, Norway, and emigrated to this country at the age of 3. Raised in Mason City Iowa, the second youngest of 4 children. Marie received a Degree in Elementary Education from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. While caring for her beloved family, Marie worked as the book-keeper for her husbands' business. Marie will always be remembered for her warm, loving spirit, and she will be profoundly missed and continue to live in the hearts, of those fortunate enough to have known her. A special thanks goes out to the nurses on the 3rd floor surgical ICU at St. Luke's Hospital. Your compassionate care did not go unnoticed. Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, January 29th from 4-8 P.M. Visitation also Saturday from 9-10 A.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3100 W. Parnell Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M.
