(nee Wasielewski) Was Born To Eternal Life on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the age of 74 years. Loving mother of Greg (Debbie), Michael, Rodney (Barb), Lori and Carl (Cheryl) Schultz. Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Rachael, Brian, Kelly and Kevin, Thomas and Amanda, Stephen and Eric. Dear great-grandmother of Madelynn. Fond sister of Dennis (Darlene) Wasielewski and Anita (Lee) Andrezjewski. Faithful companion of her dog Flossie. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home MONDAY, February 4, 2008 from 4-7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM. Funeral will commence Tuesday 9:30 AM and proceed from the Funeral Home to the BASILICA OF ST. JOSAPHAT for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Marianne was a teacher at St. Stephen's Catholic Grade School. After graduating from the UW-Milwaukee School of Education with a major in math, she worked as a systems analyst for the City of Milwaukee where she retired at the age of 62. After her retirement she earned her certification from Alverno College in piano pedagogy and was an independent piano teacher at her home and Woodlands School. She was a member of the Great Books Club at the Bay View Library, a member and auditions coordinator for the Milwaukee Area Piano Teachers Association (MAPTA) and a volunteer teacher at Milwaukee Achievers School. Marianne's family wishes to thank Dr. Maul and staff at Columbia St. Mary's Oncology, Interfaith, especially Sandy, and Heartland Hospice for their loving care.
