(nee Macias) Born to eternal life on Monday, August 18, 2008, age 83 years. Beloved wife for 57 years of Joel Martinez. Loving mother of Linda (Michael Moersfelder) Martinez and Mark (Jean) Martinez. Proud grandmother of Jennifer Zimmermann, Matthew, Aaron, Steven and Andrew Martinez. Dear sister of Guadalupe (Inez) Macias, Dolores (Adolfo) Reyes, Alfonso (Yolanda) Macias, Catalina (Joe) Soliz and Rogelio (Lupe) Macias. Preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Juana Macias and Brothers, Juan Manuel and Rodolfo Macias. Further survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, August 22, 2008, 5-8 PM and Saturday 10-11 AM. Funeral Service at 11 AM. Maria was a member of Evangelical Baptist Church, a member of the United Community Center and was very active with the Homemakers Club.
