(nee Fuchs) Joined her husband, Michael in Heaven on Monday March 7, 2022 at age 93. Loving mom of Stefan (Katherine) Balasch and Renate (the late Ricardo) Reyes. Cherished grandma of Alicia Balasch, Steve O Balasch, Angela (Pablo) Santiago, and Antonio (Nayda) Balasch. Treasured Omi of Talena, Ricky, Mia, Lulu, Adalis, AJ, and Dino. Dear sister of Barbara (Jack) Wink, Anna (the late Steve) Fischer, and Irma (Fred) Hansen. She is preceded in death by her grandchildren; Alicia Balasch and Steve O Balasch; parents Anton and Julianna Fuchs; mother in law Appolonia Balasch; sister in law Rosie (Peter) Becker; and brother in law Stefan (Maria) Balasch. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Maria (AKA Omi) lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed baking, cooking, going on long walks, traveling, and spending time up north fishing. Maria was also a member of the Milwaukee Sports Club; in her younger years she enjoyed cooking and baking with her friends at Schwabenhof Events/German Fest. Her deepest love and enjoyment was spending time with her family- especially her great grandchildren and her little dog, Sofi. She was a very tiny lady with a huge, loving heart. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 15 from 1PM-2:30PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes (13235 W Capitol Dr. Brookfield 53005). Funeral service at 2:30PM.
