Sister of Patricia (Donald) Lee, the late Robert (Jolyn), Thomas (Connie), Michael (Roxanne) and the late Jane Pinzl. Aunt of Jonathan Lee, Scott Lee, Michelle Pinzl, Stacie (Matt) Haugen, Brianne Pinzl, Michaela (Rich) Hillesheim,. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Memorial Gathering FRIDAY, August 19, 2022 from 3:30PM to 5PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Celebration of Life to follow, at 5PM. Mary was a passionate supporter of Women and Women's Rights. She was a very giving, loving and kind person who loved her family (and AA family) above all else. She was a lifetime learner, an avid reader who was often found with a book in her hands, and she loved to teach nursing. Her 48 year career as a nurse/nurse practitioner/instructor was the one thing she was most proud of -- so much so that her final act was to donate her body to the Wisconsin Medical College so students could continue to learn from her after she's gone. Purple was Mari's favorite color, so feel free to celebrate her life by wearing it in her honor for her Celebration of Life. Mari's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Froedtert Hospital compassionate care in her final days.
