(nee Starszak) Died peacefully at home on Saturday, February 19, 2005 surrounded by her family after a brief but courageous battle with interstitial lung disease. She joins her husband Harry who preceded her in death on November 30, 2004. Marge was the loving and devoted mother of Gregory (Terri) Pavlic, Thomas (Alicia) Pavlic, Kathleen (Michael) Nelson, Christine (Robert) Ameringer, Denise (Carl) Gloede, and their father, Gerald (Rachel) Pavlic. Caring stepmother of Eileen (Scott) Hurd, David John, John, and Greg (Brenda) Gostomski. Dedicated "Grandma Cookie" to Tyler, Megan, Katie, Beth, Jackie, Danny, Jessica, Annelyse, Marissa, Joshua, Joey, C.J., Ashley, Clare, Gina, Anthony, Sara, Matthew, Stephanie and Dylan. Dearest 'big' sister of Robert (Gloria) Starszak. Cherished cousin of Marilyn (Jim) Hanson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family, many dear friends…. and her dog Cookie. Marge's life was filled with the love and joy of her children, grandchildren, family and many friends. In her 'retirement' years, she enjoyed 'The Board', Card Club, and the 'Red Hat Society'. Marge was a living example of how to give selflessly to others and to love unconditionally. The family of Marge is deeply grateful to the staff of St. Luke's CICU, especially Tim, R.N. and Carolyn, CNA, and to the team at Vitas Hospice who provided the support needed to get mom home. Marge worked for the Milwaukee Public Schools System for over 26 years as a teacher's aide. Students and education were very dear to her. In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund will be established in her name. Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home THURS 4-8 PM. Prayer Vigil at 6 PM. Visitation also FRI 9-10:30 AM at ST.
