Mussmann, Madeline (nee Schiller), Found peace on Monday, October 25, 2021, age 93 years. Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Carl. Loving mother of Robert (Jan), Carl Jr., the late Gary Mussmann and Janet (Dennis) Peltonen. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, other family and friends. Madeline was very good at knitting. She always made winter hats and scarves for the family, especially the grandchildren. She was a very generous person, donating the hats she knitted to children's charities. In her later years her son Carl gave her a keyboard and she worked hard to learn how to play. Her family was very proud of her enthusiasm. She also really loved her cat companions. I (Janet Peltonen) lost the most wonderful lady I have ever known. Words can not explain the hurt I am feeling. She was the most selfless person, always putting everyone else before herself. I will miss her so much until we are together again. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM; Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
