(Nee Sherry) Reunited with her beloved husband Ken on March 22, 2011, age 88 years. Dear mother of Ron (Daun) Puetz and grandma to Kate (Bob) Gainer, Joe and Alex Puetz. Lydia is also survived by the baby sister of the Sherry clan, Dolores (Howard) Schweitzer and now joins sisters Mary, Emily, Anna, Frances and brother Joe who preceded her to their rewards.
Early in the 1960's Lydia thought she was doing volunteer office work for the Xaverian missionary priests in Franklin, WI. At the end of the week Fr. Vasco handed her a paycheck! So began a 25 year career and 45 year association with the priests of Xavier Knoll. The family wishes to thank all the Xaverians especially Fr. Dominic and Fr. Alfredo for their prayers and kindness over the years. Thanks too to the loving caregivers of Elizabeth Residence in Franklin who enjoyed Lydia these past five years as much as she enjoyed them. Ken and Lydia loved their second home in St. Germain, WI saying often "The fishing's always good, even when the catching isn't." Everyone who knew them should feel joy because they are together again, fishing no doubt.
