Zanardi, Louis J. Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Age 87 years. Beloved husband for 56 years of Florence (nee Pratesi). Loving father of Michael Zanardi, Sandra Zanardi (Eric Galisdorfer) and John Zanardi. Cherished grandfather of Courtney Wiher, Roxanne (Kyle) Barber and Brittany Galisdorfer (David White). Dear brother of Theresa (the late Frank) Napoli, the late Lorraine (William) Ellsworth and Margaret (the late Keith) Wiken. Dear brother-in-law of Renata (the late Chester) Gruchalski and Sergio (the late Maddalena) Pratesi. Further survived by 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Louis was the owner and former operator of South Woods of Cudahy Restaurant. He was also the owner of J & L Beverage which provided the tappers and coolers for Summerfest, The Wisconsin State Fair and many of the area church festivals. He owned several businesses that helped in the construction of the Summerfest grounds and many homes on E. Van Beck Ave. in St. Francis. Louis also was involved in the community; he generously gave of his time to the Cudahy Police and Fire Departments and the Milwaukee Lake Lions Club.
