(nee Winters), Born January 15, 1927. Lost her very courageous battle with cancer on June 26, 2004 age 77 years. Preceded in death by her husbands Kenneth A. Wachowiak and John J. Mackey and her daughter Lynn A. Chiaverotti. Beloved mother of Katie (Brian) Lindblom. Dear grandmother of Matthew, Molly, Merrik and Lynnie. Mother-in-law of Gary Chiaverotti. Sister of Leonard (Charlotte) Winters. Special friend of Bernie Sherwin. Also survived by other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home WED. 4-6 PM. Funeral services at 6:00 PM. Private interment Arlington Park Cemetery. Lois graduated from UW-Madison in 1949 and began her career in social work followed by a successful 30 year career at Norberg Mfg.. Lois delighted in nature and all living things. She looked forward to every morning at 4 AM when the robins would peck at her window and woke her for their daily treat of raisins.
