Obituary

Lois Ann Clarke (nee Jurack), 80, of Greenfield, WI, passed peacefully on June 30th 2025, after

a difficult journey with Alzheimers disease.

Lois grew up in Lyons, IL, graduated from Rosary College (now part of Dominican University)

and taught at Nazareth Academy High School in Illinois. She was an avid collector of 45

records. She went on to work at World Book Encyclopedia, Eastern Airlines, and as an

administrator at various banks and plant nurseries. Lois proudly made Wisconsin her home for

the past 30 years.

Lois loved teaching her kids and supporting their passions. She was a formidable Scrabble

player, loved fishing, music, baseball, gardening, birds and Native American culture.

Lois is preceded in death by parents Johanne Jurack and Stanley Jurack, husband Richard

"Pat" Clarke, her brothers James and John Jurack, sister Rene Jurack and nephew Mark Jurack.

She is survived by son Shawn Clarke (Julia Hurn) of Brooklyn, NY, grandchildren Aidan Clarke

and Ratatosk Clarke, daughter Amanda Clarke of Milwaukee, grandson Darby Orvis, and son

Jeremy Clarke of West Allis.

Lois is also survived by her brother Tom Jurack (Barb) of LaGrange Highlands, IL, sister-in-law

Anne Marie Jurack of Luckey, OH, sister Mary-Jo Divis (Tom) of Gillette, WY, brother Paul

Jurack of Chicago, IL, nieces and nephews: Karyn Nagle-Matula, Mike Jurack (Lisa), James

Jurack (Meddy), Lindy Wagner (Brett), Daniel Jurack (Kim Miller), Jacob Divis, Christine Kruger

(Cody), Joe Jurack, Anne Jurack, Sara Jurack, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
