A lifetime resident of Milwaukee County, Linda Jean Thiel (nee Szymanowski) was born on 11th July 1947 to devoted parents, Paul and Gloria Szymanowski (nee Burek). With her treasured sons by her side, Ryan Thiel and Randall Thiel, Linda peacefully left this world for an eternal one on 15th April 2024 at the age of 76.

Linda is survived by her much-loved brothers and sisters, Wayne (Sue) St. John, David (Diane) Thiel, Arliss (Larry) Lopina, and Alan (Chris) Thiel. She adored each of her surviving nieces and nephews and their families, Tracey St. John, Trevor (Natasha) St. John, Tammy (Corey) Jansen, Todd (Ilona) St. John, Tari (Rob) St. John, Brad (Liza) Thiel, Brian (Danielle) Thiel, Emily (Chris) Youn, Justin Lopina, Ashley (Mike) Knutson, Eric (Marissa) Lopina, and Allison Lopina. She was equally loved by now deceased parents-in-law, Kurt (Leone) Thiel.

Linda was a woman of great faith. She led life lovingly and simply in knowing that God, her sons, family, and friends were most important above all else.

For twenty-four dedicated years (1981 - 2005), Linda worked at the Franciscan Villa Nursing Home in South Milwaukee where her compassion for people touched and inspired many from all generations.

Any memorials in her name, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Eras Senior Network, a remarkable non-profit organization that helps support seniors, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in leading meaningful lives.

Linda's family extends enormous gratitude to the staff at Zilber Family Hospice who displayed superhuman compassion and care.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join a Mass of Christian Burial hosted by the family for Linda on Saturday, 27th April, at 11:00 at St Paul Catholic Church, 1720 E. Norwich Avenue, Milwaukee, WI, 53207.
