Norfolk, Linda (nee Haun) Found Peace on August 23, 2024, age 73. Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Donald R. Norfolk; her parents Gilbert and Mary; sister, Susie; and brother Jeff. She is survived by admiring sons, Nathan and Matthew; sisters Jane (Tom) Verba, Mary Jo (Chuck) Virnig, and Amy Haun; brothers Mark (Barb) Haun, and David Haun; treasured grandchildren Trey, Braden, Noah, and Violet; and daughter-in-law Tea (nee Benduhn). Also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.

Linda lived a life in service and love of others. She was the caretaker and companion to her late husband for the entirety of his struggle with Parkinson's disease. She was an advocate for the developmentally disabled, and anyone who needed help. She was a motherly, loving presence to countless young people while she lived in Racine and worked at St. Rita's Parish. During her career with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Linda assisted thousands of her fellow Wisconsinites in receiving resources and help during some of the most difficult times of their lives. She lovingly guided her sons with justice, humor, and openness - teaching them that men should value compassion and kindness above material pursuits and acquiring power. Spending time with her children and grandchildren gave her much happiness.
