Boettcher, Lester T. J. Nov. 12, 2005. Age 93 years. Beloved husband of Esther (nee Schoessow) for 73 years. Dear father of Beverley (the late Dr. Merlin) Kottke. Dear gramps of Dr. Kandice (Dr. Roger) Marchant and Kenneth (Catherine) Kottke. Dear great-gramps of Eleanor and Alexandra Marchant and Konrad and Korben Kottke. Further survived by beloved sister Gertrude Kohls, special nephew Dennis (Sharon) Schoessow, other relatives and many friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home TUE 2-4:30 PM. Funeral Services at 4:30 P.M. Private interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Lester apprenticed as a machinist at Nordberg Manufacturing Company. He started work as a machinist at Ladish Company in 1934, retiring in 1973 as a Foreman in the Production Machine Department. Outside of work, he was known by friends and family as a man of many talents. A true renaissance man, Lester was an inventor, artist, handyman, automobile restorer, shipwright and "Mr. Fix-It". It was well known that "gramps fixes everything". A special thanks to Dr. V.K. Rao, Heritage Square, St. Luke's Hospital, Meadowmere and Ruth Hospice for compassionate care and to Rev.
