Leslie Marie Wohkittel

(nee Steinbrenner) Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Horst Wohkittel. Loving mom of Laura Steinbrenner. Cherished grandma of Aaron (Morgan) Steinbrenner. Dear great-grandma of August "Augie" Steinbrenner. Adored sister of Donna Griffen, the late Kurt (Diane) Steinbrenner, Mary Beth (Randy) Ivalis, Paul (Beth) Steinbrenner and Eric Steinbrenner. Leslie is preceded in death by her parents August and Marie Steinbrenner and is survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Leslie was born, raised and lifelong resident of Bay View and member of St. Lucas Ev. Lutheran Church. She was a 1964 graduate of Bay View High School. Leslie was a retiree of Ladish Co. after years of distinguished service. Leslie and her late husband Horst enjoyed spending their summers in the Wisconsin Dells and later the winters in Ocala, Florida. They also immersed themselves in the German culture here in Milwaukee and were members of DANK Milwaukee and active volunteer at Germanfest.

Visitation Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 11:30 am - 1:30 PM at St. Lucas Ev. Lutheran Church, 2605 S. Kinnnickinnic Ave. Milwaukee. Funeral Service at 1:30 PM. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
