Morbeck, Leon L. "Lee". Thursday, February 19, 2009, age 72 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 49 years of Barbara (nee Cousins). Loving brother of the late Rudy (Mary Ann Panasuk) Morbeck. Dear son of Leona and the late Walter Morbeck. Loving uncle of David (Lisa) Morbeck. Great-uncle of Sasha, Zachary, Corey and Trevor Morbeck. Also survived by other relatives and many friends. Lee was a 50 year member of Lake Lodge No.189 F&AM and South Shore (Formerly Rusk Lodge) No. 3 F&AM, a member and Past President of Lake Shore Shrine Club, charter member of the Tripoli Highlanders and a 10-year member of the Drum and Bugle Corps. He was a member and Past President of the Inter-Organization Council of Bay View and the former Bay View St. Francis Jaycees. He was also an active committee member with the South Shore Water Frolic for many years. Lee was a recipient of the Bay View Man of the Year, an off-ice official for 40 years and former public address announcer with the Milwaukee Admirals. He was a Clark Lake Association board member for 12 years and a former owner/operator of the Coast to Coast Hardware Stores in Milwaukee (S. 20th & Layton Ave. and So. Howell Ave.).
