(Nee Tomaro) Died peacefully Monday, March 17 2008, age 96 years. Beloved daughter of the late Philomena and Nick Tomaro, sister to the late Mary, Rose, Andrew, Josephine, Clara, Grace, Nick, Florence and Mike. Loving mother of Sharon (Hans) Billerbeck. Loving grandmother of Brenda (Kurt) Bauske and Hans K. Billerbeck. Great-grandmother of Kurt Bauske. Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy Tomaro. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family, friends and neighbors. Lena worked many years as a bookkeeper in the family business, Tomaro Contractors. She was a volunteer at Trinity Hospital for 38 years. In her free time she enjoyed bowling, was a avid golfer and former member at Tuckaway Country Club, loved to travel, and was a devout Catholic. Visitation MON, March 24, 2008, 10-11 AM at NATIVITY OF THE LORD CHURCH, 3772 E. Plankinton Ave., Cudahy. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
