Thoma, Lawrence G. Went to join his beloved wife Melba (nee Melcher) on Friday, February 12, 2010, age 84 years. Loving father of Tom (Sue) Thoma, Gail (Marty) Pierce, Wade (Nancy Pred) Thoma and Wanda (Andy) Mc Donald. Proud grandfather of Ted (Michelle Perry) Davis, Evan Thoma, Trevor Thoma, Max Thoma and Fred (Jenny) Ilsley. Dear great-grandfather of Jaidyn, Brennan, Kaylee, Ryan, Brianna and Matthew. Dear brother of Gertrude (Fritz) Ratzer, Clarence Thoma, Arlene Treuer, Ruth (Gilbert) Maddux and preceded by his brothers John, Carl and Steve Thoma and sisters Lorraine Henderson and Ann Numerick. Also survived by many other cherished family members and dear friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Monday, February 15, 2010, 4-8 PM, prayer service at 7 PM. Visitation also on Tuesday, 9:30-10AM at SACRED HEART OF JESUS CHURCH, 3635 So. Kinnickinnic Ave., St. Francis, Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park. Larry was a member of Teamsters Local No. 200 and a veteran of the Merchant Marines. He was an avid bowler, golfer and sports fan.
