LaVerne Theresa Finger

(nee Gallinatti) Born to eternal life on Friday, September 11, 2026 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of 71 years to the late Donald F. Finger. Cherished mother of Paulette (the late Richard) Lepkowski, David (Pat), Glenn (the late Sharon), Gary (Donna Welch), Suzanne (the late James) Gavin and Shari Roach. Beloved grandmother of Julie (Tony), Jason (Jessica), Ryan (Victoria), Anthony, Vince (Jennifer), Matthew, Amber, Crystal (Mike), Bradley (Hannah), Adam (Amanda), Angela and Jessica. Great-grandmother of Alexa, Ava, Luke, Ryan, Summer, Cole, Haley, Jake, Shayna, Logan, Jaylen, Eli and Peyton. Also survived by other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Tony and Irene Gallinatti.

LaVerne graduated from Bay View High School in 1950 and soon after she met the love of her life, Don and together they had six children. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, and crafting. She was famous for her cooking and baking, especially her mostaccioli and cheesecake. After raising her kids, she took a part time job at True Value, where she enjoyed working with and helping customers. She will be deeply missed and always be in our hearts forever.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 16th, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Private interment at Forest Hill Memorial Park at a later date.
