Laurie Marie Trick, born 10/15/1955, passed away peacefully on 2/15/24 at the age of 68 following a short illness.

Laurie is Survived by her loving family, brother, Robert Trick, nephews, Nathan, Kyle and Brian Trick, and longtime friend Christine Baxter. Laurie was Godmother to Nathan.

Preceded in death by brothers, David, and Eugene Trick, and parents, Gladys, and Edmund Trick.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Laurie was a very private but compassionate, thoughtful, and spiritual person. She had an inquisitive mind and was passionate about alternative metaphysical and spiritual aspects of humanity. Laurie also loved and cared for her many pet cats over the years, Frenchie, Wanda, and Baby. Reading and watching classic movies were her favorite passion of entertainment. As an avid reader Laurie enjoyed learning through reading many topics of interest.

Laurie had an entrepreneur spirit. After learning the restaurant business from the ground up, she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico opening and operating a restaurant. Once moving back to Wisconsin years later she started a cleaning business in which she operated until her retirement.

Laurie was a graduate of St. Francis High School, St. Francis Wisconsin, and earned an AAS degree in Social Services at Milwaukee Area Technical College. She also studied Social Sciences at UW Milwaukee.
