Laurie Ann Toman-Patrick Died peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Age 59 years. Lifetime partner of Paul Frieseke. Cherished sister of Julie Toman and Sarah (Eric) Walloch. Loving aunt of Timothy, Karen and Ashley Wendorf and Emilie and Charlie Walloch. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Patrick and her parents Patricia and Frank Toman. Further survived by other family members and friends. Laurie was very proud of her education culminating with her Master's Degree that she earned in 1998 from UW-Milwaukee. An advocate for public education, Laurie, worked for over 12 years passionately as a speech pathologist for the Milwaukee Public School System. Through her life she enjoyed a love for family. Laurie was a strong advocate for Women's Rights. She traveled the world most notably The Dominican Republic, Sweden, Jamaica, Ireland, the Bahamas and Las Vegas. Laurie loved nature, she especially has an enthusiasm for collecting rocks. And she was a voracious reader, even if she had a few spare minutes of time on her hands Laurie was well known for picking up a book or two. Through God's grace and guidance Laurie became a member of AA and completed her life as an active member.
